2016 – Reflecting on last year:
2016 was a good year for us, here at UrbanWorkSpace.
We completed the new block at Branston Court Business Centre. The block is doing well and has many companies running out of it as we speak. We still have some availability in the new block. Our brand new official website went live! The updated site brings a modern twist and an upgrade to the company. You can visit the new official UrbanWorkSpace website at www.urbanworkspace.com. We revamped the look of our boardroom in Steward Street Business Lofts. By dividing the space into three we have created 3 boardrooms available for hire instead of the original 1. All rooms feature upcycled boardroom tables, plasma TV’s and blinds. To see the process behind creating these tables visit our previous post – Our Brand New Pallet Boardroom Tables!
The offices in all locations are continuing to do well.
2017 & Beyond:
We are looking at improving all locations under the UrbanWorkSpace umbrella. In 2016 we began work on cladding and insulating our Steward Street Business Lofts location. The work will be completed in 2017. Once completed our offices will retain the heat better making each office warmer than before.
Also we have already begun planning a 4th floor on Steward Street Business Lofts. The work should commence in 2017 and once completed will feature offices of all sizes. A new floor will allow us to bring more businesses into UrbanWorkSpaces we hope from 2017 and beyond.
We have improved internet services at Branston Court and are looking into further improvements to the centre.
Work continues on both the Brandeaur project and Pype Hayes Hall projects. Both projects remain on target. You can read our previous blog posts on both projects by clicking each of the links below:
In 2016, UrbanWorkSpace celebrated its 5th year. We hope and plan 2017 will be another great year both for UrbanWorkSpace and all our UrbanWorkSpace tenants.
